Renowned for his visually stunning literary adaptations, he began his career in his parents’ puppet theatre before studying fine art and film at Central St Martins. His breakthrough came with 'Pride & Prejudice,' earning him critical acclaim and a BAFTA for best newcomer. Wright’s films often feature long tracking shots and a painterly aesthetic, reflecting his artistic roots and dyslexia-driven visual storytelling.
